Lake Curalo Walkway is a fantastic, accessible location for bird watching. If you follow the boardwalk to the east there is access to Aslings Beach or you may wish to follow the Maritime Heritage Walk where depictions of Eden’s historical links with the sea have been etched into the footpath.

How to get there:   Princess Highway Eden

MOUNT IMLAY NATIONAL PARK

Turn off for Mount Imlay 20 km’s south of Eden on the Princes Highway onto Burrawang Road and follow the signs to the start of this 3km walking track.  The track is rough and steep but well worth the effort when you reach the top and take in the spectacular panoramic views.  Experience the abundant bird and animal wildlife and pockets of rainforest in the gullies as you climb the mountain.

Time:  2 hours
Level of fitness required:  High, constant steep climb
How to get there:  Follow the Princes Highway heading south from Eden for 20 kms, turn off onto Burrawang Road.
